The Exeo Athletics hydration belt absolutely did the job for the first go with a 22 km run at the weekend, and I’m genuinely chuffed with it. It stayed put the whole way, no annoying bouncing or twisting around my waist, so I wasn’t faffing about adjusting it mid-run.
There’s loads of room for the essentials – phone, keys, gels – without feeling bulky. Getting stuff in and out on the move was easy enough, which is exactly what you want when you’re tired and don’t want to break stride. The fabric feels comfy against the skin too, no rubbing or hot spots by the end of the run.
What I liked most is that after the first couple of kilometres I more or less forgot I was wearing it, which is probably the best compliment you can give a running belt. For long runs where you need a bit of storage and hydration without the hassle, I’d happily keep using this and would recommend it to other runners.
